On the morning of November 8, the Party Committee of the Rare Earth Institute held a study session of the theoretical central group of the Party Committee in the C509 Party Activity Room of Rare Earth Building. Members of the Party Committee of the Rare Earth Institute attended the meeting, and Li Benliang, Executive Vice President of the Party School and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Organ, was present to observe the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Li Zhen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Rare Earth Institute.
At the meeting, the participants focused on watching the "Collection of Golden Words of the 20th National Congress Report Video". Qi Xiaopeng learned about the discussion on education in Xi Jinping's report to the 20th Party Congress on behalf of the 19th Central Committee, the revised Constitution of the Communist Party of China (adopted on 22 October 2022), and the fourth volume of The Governance of China---Xi Jinping - always having the "greatness of the state" in mind and effectively putting into action the adherence to the overall leadership of the Party.
Afterwards, Liu Chao, a young science and technology pacesetter, made an advanced typical speech combining his own learning experience and work reality. Li Benliang handed out the book " The Governance of China---Xi Jinping " Volume 4 to Liu Chao. Li Zhen made a central speech, taking the issue of how to run an education to the satisfaction of the people and create a school to the satisfaction of the people as a starting point, and shared his insights on the implementation of the Party's education policy, the implementation of the fundamental task of establishing moral education, promoting education with special characteristics, and accelerating and deepening the reform and innovation of school thinking courses in the new era.
In his concluding speech, Liang Tongxiang asked: Firstly, we should conscientiously implement the fundamental task of establishing moral education, fully understand and grasp the laws and characteristics of education development, and train socialist builders and successors for the Party and the country to develop morally, intellectually, physically, socially and aesthetically. Secondly, we should emphasize the word "practical" and "work first", remember the original mission in learning and practicing, and constantly cultivate ourselves in careful study and practice, so as to be a teacher of the new era.
Li Benliang commented that this study session, we study seriously, attitude is correct, well prepared, rich in content, diverse forms, theoretical learning combined with the practical work of the Rare Earth Institute, the meeting was effective.
