The Rare Earth college is a college based high-quality undergraduate talent training institution established in response to the University's efforts to strengthen the construction of first-class disciplines in the rare earth field, strengthen the discipline special zones in the special rare earth field, and better serve the high-quality development strategy of the country's rare earth industry. It is an important measure for the University to deepen the reform of undergraduate education and create a model of innovative talent training.

    In terms of undergraduate talent training, the college takes "learning with clear principles, integrity and innovation" as its academic training, "integration of knowledge and practice" as its guidance, pays attention to small class, international and personalized training, implements the academy system, tutorial system and credit system, and strives to cultivate ambitious, responsible, capable, pioneering and innovative talents for the national rare earth strategic resource field.
